CalExotics and its sister company JOPEN added new courses and a renewed sexual health and wellness focus to their training initiative. The CalExotics Institute now offers courses on general sales training, for both CalExotics and JOPEN products, along with product specific resources and sexual health and wellness content.
The CalExotics Institute is an online educational resource for industry professionals aimed at aiding in the selling experience, specifically at the retail level. All courses are free of charge and users can sign up by filling out a simple form, or by using their Facebook or Google+ account. To incentives users, CalExotics Institute offers monthly prizes. For ever course a user completes they have the opportunity to enter into that months contest. Prizes range from $25 Starbucks gift cards, $50 Target gift cards, $100 in free product and more. Multiple winners are chosen each month.

General sales training is offered for some of CalExotics collections including Booty Call, Entice Accessories, Impress, Jack Rabbit, Scandal and Silhouette. The newest course from CalExotics is for the Embrace collection. The JOPEN courses include ENVY, LUST and VANITY. Each course allows users to familiarize themselves with each specific collection, offering product knowledge and videos.
