eroFame takes privacy protection seriously

In a recent statement, the organizer of eroFame made it clear that no visitor data from the trade fair will be passed on to third parties. In the past there had been inquiries regarding the addresses of the visitors. However, so far the organizer has refrained from addressing the retailer to the disclosure of his personal data, also because the issue of data protection is currently in the focus of the media and treated criticaly. “As the organizer of eroFame, we do not want to introduce this option in the future,” explains the eroFame team. “It is our opinion that this decision is also in the interest of the exhibitors due to the good reputation of eroFame.”

A juridical expertise gathered for this purpose came to the conclusion that a transmission of data is currently not possible because personal data may only be published if the person concerned has given his written consent.
