ANME Ends 30-Year Run in the Pleasure Products Industry
The Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo (ANME), widely known as ‘The Founders Show’, has announced that it is ending its 30-year involvement in the pleasure products industry.
Established in 1996 by Susan Colvin of CalExotics, Elliot Schwartz of Nasstoys and Ron and Chad Braverman of Doc Johnson, ANME evolved into a pivotal networking hub for US-based manufacturers, distributors and retailers. The Founders also included Pipedream Products and Topco for many decades.
Regularly held in Burbank, California, often twice a year, ANME provided a platform for companies to showcase new products, build business relationships, and connect with industry peers. The final edition took place in July 2026.
In a farewell message, ANME described the show as a place where the industry came together ‘not simply to buy and sell products, but to build relationships, exchange ideas, celebrate successes and forge friendships’.
The organisers thanked the exhibitors, customers, staff, families, and the wider industry for their support over three decades, adding that ANME was proud to have played a part in the growth and evolution of the pleasure products market.
