EDC Wholesale attained 45th position in ‘Fast 50 List’
EDC Wholesale attained the 45th position in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 List of 2018. The companies on this list have been nominated based on their turnover over the past four years. In 2017 the Holland-based wholesaler grew almost 300%, which was good enough to be placed on the prestigious list of fastgrowing technology companies.
Eric Idema started the company eleven years ago with a small online shop from his attic and managed to grow bigger and bigger each and every year. The company is still growing and expanding and had to move to larger premises several times before they got the place they can now finally call ’the home of EDC Wholesale’. Since the company entered this facility with many logistical solutions the company grew out to became the successful international wholesaler it is today.

The position in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 comes from growing and expanding current and new territories. EDC Wholesale was the first European online sex shop to deliver to China in 2016. With a comprehensive assortment of over 12.000 sex toys, the company entered the largest erotic market and successfully so. In 2017 the company moved into new premises, offering a logistics center of over 8.000 square meters and a large office space to house the constant growing staff of over 120 people today.
EDC Wholesale is also growing and expanding its assortment with house brands, introducing 10 new brands at the last eroFame show in Hannover and adding a number of new items to the popular and award-winning EasyToys collections, Sway Vibes, MyMagicWand, Boners, and Loveboxxx. Many new third-party labels were added to the assortment, assuring the wholesaler’s customers with a comprehensive selection from virtually every category.
