Maia Novelties adds 2 new staff to Sales Team

Maia Novelties is proud to welcome 2 new staff members to the company’s North American Sales Team.

Industry veteran Melissa Lott has joined Maia’s Sales Department in the role of Novelty Sales and Training Specialist, where she’ll serve the company from her home office in Florida. Fellow industry vet David Sohl has accepted the role of Sales Support Specialist and will be based in Ohio.

Melissa Lott arrives at Maia Novelties after a long-standing, owner-operator career with retailer Adam & Eve in East Palatka, Florida. Lott has spent 31 years working in adult retail and was inspired to leap into the manufacturing sector after Covid took its toll on brick-and-mortar stores. In her role as Novelty Sales and Training Specialist, Lott will assist the sales team in their efforts to secure new business, nurture current client relationships, and travel North America to train retail store staff on Maia Novelties products “Personally, I have always felt as if manufacturers should find a way to have a retail opinion on their team. I believe this gives them more insight into what consumers are looking for,” says Lott. “Since Maia Novelties was one of my top-selling brands in my Adam & Eve store, I jumped at the opportunity to work with them. I have wanted to work with Lisa and Team Maia for a long time.”

David Sohl of Cleveland, Ohio brings 15 years of pleasure industry experience in website design, product development, and sales management. In his role as Sales Support Specialist, he will provide support to sales staff and advise on special projects, and offer customer service and IT support. “It’s been exciting to watch the growth of Maia Toys and I’m very excited to join the Maia family. We share the same philosophy on providing a great customer experience and the desire to continuously improve,” says Sohl. “I look forward to working with my new colleagues and to making my contribution to the amazing team at Maia Novelties.”
