Male pleasure brand Arcwave reveals the sexual habits of European football fans

Jubilant England fans were seen celebrating up and down the country as Gareth Southgate’s side took one step closer to a potential Euro 2020 victory. The excitement and passion of the fans was however not just reserved for the game as male pleasure brand Arcwave has recently conducted its own sex survey to reveal the sexual habits of European football fans. From revealing what percentage of England fans use sex toys to what they love the most about ‘doggy style’, the Arcwave Euro Sex League 2021 reveals the sexual habits of England’s fans and what is getting them screaming with passion!

Harry Kane wore a rainbow captain’s armband for the recent clash with Germany to mark the end of Pride month. It is perhaps not a surprise that the England captain chose to show solidarity and allyship with the LGBTQI+ community as 11% of English fans identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual. This is significantly higher than the estimated 3% of the UK population who identified as LGB in the 2019 Office of National Statistics.

The euphoria of England progressing through the knock-out phase of the competition might be one of the reasons it was revealed that England fans masturbate on average 4 times a week. Although, they might not thank Arcwave for revealing this statistic as nearly two thirds (62%) of fans do not feel the need to talk about it. However, over half (59%) of England fans believe they have a better than average sex life with 36% having sex with their partner at least once per week. The path to orgasm would appear to be clitoral stimulation as 56% reveal that it is needed at least 75% of the time to achieve this. It would appear this fact hasn’t been lost on England fans as nearly half (46%) admit to having used a sex toy with their partner.

While many of us found comfort in our loungewear during lockdown, this seems to have also extended to our sex life. Nearly a third (31%) of England fans reveal doggy style as their favourite sex position with 26% preferring ‘missionary’. When asked what it was that they liked most about these positions, 40% said it down to being ‘comfortable’ Johanna Rief, Head of Sexual Empowerment at Arcwave says: “Football will forever bring great excitement and optimism to its fans with the hope that their team might come out victorious. The results of the Arcwave Euro Sex League was able to tap into this passion and reveal some the UK’s sauciest bedroom secrets. However, what was also discovered was that while it is common to discuss football tactics and team selections with your friends and family members, there is still a taboo around sex and masturbation. Being able to talk openly and honestly with your friends or family members is important in helping to remove the stigma around sex and masturbation.”
