Cobeco informs about the new CE regulations on their eroFame booth

Beside showing the new clean.play collection as well as a selection of their other products Cobeco Pharma will be at the eroFame to inform you about the new medical device Class IIa regulation.

Currently, personal lubricants are still being placed on the market as cosmetic and Class I medical devices. As of April 2017, the Council of Ministers and the European Parliament have adopted a new medical device regulation which also applies to personal / intimate lubricants. There is a transition period of three years before the new law comes in full effect, i.e., from April 2017 until May 2020. Soon internet marketplaces like Amazon, ebay, bol.com will only accept lubricants as medical device Class IIa.

While Cobeco Pharma will be one of the few producers in the EU that will be allowed to produce CE-marked Class IIa personal lubricants they invite visitors to come by their stand on the eroFame. An appointment with them or request more information can be set with an email to sales@cobeco.nl.
