Jacqueline Gold dies at the age of 62

According to reports in various media, the boss of British adult retailer Ann Summers, Jacqueline Gold, died March 16 at the age of 62 after years of serious illness. Gold started in her father’s company in 1981 as an intern. She led the company’s fortunes as CEO from 1993, and served as executive chair from 2022. She contributed greatly to the company’s growth when she introduced the Ann Summers Party concept.
