Lovehoney unveils four new ranges at the ANME Founders Show
Lovehoney’s International Trade Sales team has touched back down in England following a successful few days at the ANME Founders Show in Burbank, California.
International Trade Sales Managers Jim Primrose, Kate Hodgson-Egan and Sabrina Earnshaw attended ANME to represent the sex toy manufacturer and retailer at the show, which saw the launches of four brand new ranges; The Official Broad City Official Pleasure Collection, Fifty Shades Freed The Official Pleasure Collection, BlowYo and tokidoki X Lovehoney Series 3.
Kate Hodgson-Egan commented; “This was definitely the most successful show yet, we had record numbers of visitors with attendees calling our stand ‘the must-see booth’! The final range in our Fifty Shades of Grey Official Pleasure Collections – Freed, stole the show with customers commenting on the striking rich combination of the rose gold and purple colours. They were also in awe at the ‘Sweet Release’ clitoral suction stimulator due to it containing a super-powerful suction with 4 different patterns and intensities. Attendees were also blown away by the quality and detailing of the luxe toys in the Limited Edition Fifty Shades ‘Cherished’ range. Typically when a new Fifty Shades range launches, we have seen a spike in sales for the previous collection. Therefore, we are urging retailers to stock up on Fifty Shades of Grey Official Pleasure Collection and Fifty Shades Darker Official Pleasure Collection to prepare themselves for the next Fifty Shades instalment. The next movie trailer should be released around September time – get ready!”
Sabrina Earnshaw comments on the reaction to Lovehoney’s latest collaboration with hit US TV show Broad City: “Whether a fan of the show or not, visitors to our stand loved the bright and fun packaging of the products and eye-catching POS, perfect for in-store displays or windows. The most popular items from this range were undoubtedly the ‘’In the Mood’’ mint green lipstick vibrator, inspired by character Ilana’s pre-masturbation ritual of putting on green lipstick, the “Nature’s Pocket” kegel balls, as seen in the iconic scene of the show where Ilana store her stash, and “The Pegasus” pegging kit, based on Abbi’s notorious pegging scene.”
At ANME, Lovehoney also unveiled the latest innovation in male sex toys, BlowYo, a male stroker that creates the sensations of intense oral sex. “BlowYo was described by an independent tester as, ‘the closest to a blow job I’ve ever felt from a toy,’” comments Earnshaw, “therefore there was a lot of curiosity about this stroker. There were many comments on the sleek packaging and the addition of the plain black container which the stroker comes in for discreet storage and portability.”
The sought-after tokidoki x Lovehoney Official Pleasure Collection also had a new addition unveiled at the show, series 3 mini vibes bullets. Earnshaw explains how they went down a treat at the show; “The tokidoki x Lovehoney collection is really popular with our customers already and the new vibes, which incorporate skeletons and skulls, received a great reaction with many customers commenting that these will be perfect for Halloween and Day of the Dead festivities in October and November.”
Earnshaw concludes on ANME 2017; “We had an overwhelming response to all our products demonstrated at the show and we had great comments from our customers on how ‘Lovehoney make it so easy’ with our great quality products, impressive packaging, POS and training material available. ANME 2017 was brilliant and we are already looking forward to ANME 2018!”
